CARHARTT WIP

The brand was founded to produce workwear for railway workers back in the 1890s, focusing on the need for strong and durable clothing. Over time, Carhartt products developed distinctive features designed to prolong their lifespan and for a long time the brand was only recognised as a manufacturer of workwear. In 1994, Edwin Faeh launched Carhartt Work In Progress (WIP), whose collections were inspired by classic Carhartt workwear. The brand combines the authentic reinterpretation of time-honoured American archetypes with the involvement of the subcultures that made them their own. This has led Carhartt WIP to position itself in a new context and create new original classics, becoming one of the most popular brands among young people and fashionistas.
